Prior to launching Advocacy & Consulting Solutions, my extensive background consists of community advocacy, mental health, and crisis intervention.  This is where I am skilled to assist diverse individuals and families in various types of problematic situations in different communities. I have also spent several years in clinical counseling as a domestic violence and sexual assault for the YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association)  as a part of the crisis intervention and direct service advocate team.

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor currently working as clinical intake coordinator for a national organization which services adults and children with eating disorders. I am also registered as a parent advocate and received my training from Federation for Children with Special Needs in Boston, Massachusetts. I have professional  and  personal experience serving the elderly population. I have over 10 years of experience with being a caregiver for my father who was a disabled Vietnam Veteran.

I have earned my associate degree in Criminal Justice from Holyoke Community College, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University, in Westfield, Massachusetts and my Master’s degree from Cambridge, Massachusetts in Mental Health Counseling with concentration studies in Trauma and Addiction.
